Coco•Mix™ contains Coco coir, a waste product of the coconut industry, has proven to be an ideal medium in which to grow plants. To allow coco fibre to become useable, the organic matter must first decompose over a period of time so that the strong fibres are softened.
Canna Coco is coconut fibre; it has been used for several years now as a growing medium in the indoor horticultural industry and is becoming increasingly popular. Canna Coco is a substrate, which is environmentally safe, economical, bio-degradable and user friendly.
Gold Label Hydrocorn and Coco is an ideal match for high water capacity, lower watering frequency and better rooting. We utilize the 8-16mm Hydrocorn from Gold Label and the purest Gold Label Coco to give to give you the perfect ebb and flood growing media which also works well in any pot based systems. The 60/40 mix allows you to feed less frequently than in straight Hydrocorn and gives a buffer on the watering times.
Gold Label Coco is manufactured using the fibres from the husk of the coconut. Only matured woody brown husk is used for optimum quality and stabilty of the substrate. The husk fibres are washed to remove excess EC, buffered to remove potassium and then sieved into fine fibres.

The VitaLink Clay Coir is more forgiving on watering regimes than using just Clay Pebbles because the Coir has such good water retention qualities.
